Members of the Oregon Health & Science University and House Officers Union bargaining teams met in person on Thursday, Dec. 14, for their 14th bargaining session. Teams exchanged proposals related to economic topics and time away from work, and reached one tentative agreement.

OHSU proposals

The OHSU bargaining team shared counterproposals in response to the HOU bargaining team’s proposals centered on economics:

Additionally, the OHSU bargaining team submitted a new proposal, Section 5.X (new) Prorated Benefits, to create a new section within the contract that reflects the current practice of prorating benefits for part-time residents.
