Carolanne Wipfli has been named vice president of development at the OHSU Foundation, after having served in an interim role since the spring of 2024. In her new role, Wipfli leads a team of development professionals who work with donors and supporters to raise funds that support OHSU’s and OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospitals missions of research, clinical care, education and advocacy.
Wipfli has more than 18 years of experience in philanthropy and has served in many different capacities during her 15-year tenure at the OHSU Foundation. Her deep experience spans all aspects of development, from individual and program fundraising, to communications, stewardship, board relations, and special events. She was directly involved in significant fundraising campaigns like the Knight Cancer Challenge and the Gary & Christine Rood Family Pavilion capital campaign, where she collaborated on the development and implementation of strategies that secured significant gifts and stewarded donor relationships.
Before she assumed the interim development vice president role, Wipfli served as assistant vice president of donor relations. In this role, she developed and implemented engagement and stewardship strategies for donors at all levels, including events, communications, and recognition programs.

Wipfli holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Arizona State University.
