OHSU emergency doctor quits his job to volunteer in Ukraine

KATU-TV reports that, after three volunteer trips to Ukraine, training more than 1,500 people in 16 cities, Stephen Donnelly, M.D., left his role as an emergency medicine faculty member who works out of Columbia Memorial in Astoria to train health care workers to train health care workers: "I can teach people to teach others, then they can continue to save lives beyond just even the trips where I’m there. The reason for continuing is I think the people of Ukraine are amazing."
