August 28, 2025
The Oregonian covers a new report from the Oregon Health Authority noting that the state’s 60 acute care hospitals lost nearly $300 million in the first three months of this year. The story reports that OHSU reported a $13.4 million profit during that time. (The story did not capture OHSU’s current systemic budget shortfall.) Willamette Week also covers the state report.
