RedHill Biopharma announces presentation of positive oral opaganib Phase 2 data in COVID-19

Kevin Winthrop, M.D., M.P.H., is quoted in a press release about Phase 2 trial results for opaganib, an investigational therapy for hospitalized COVID-19 patients with pneumonia. He says: “The need for an effective oral therapy to treat COVID-19 is clear. Such a therapy would greatly improve our ability to manage this pandemic.”
